You know, the thing isn't so much that Daniel was put back into human form. If anything, I'm glad about that, but it could have been under better circumstamces, and the Ancients could have at least let him save Abydos. I mean, okay, Anubis was finally brought under control, but before that he conquered and enslaved tons of people, and the Abydonians, who never did anything unjust, were all destroyed. Yes, thanks to Oma, they were able to ascend, and, perhaps, they could all come back one day, but they shouldn't have been killed in the first place. If the Ancients had just let Daniel kill Anubis, it would have saved a lot of trouble.
