24 Hour Party People

Alright, you can read this entry, but after that, drop everything you're doing and go watch this movie. I'm serious. Just drive over to the video store, buy it, and watch it, and if it isn't there, get it through Amazon or something. Even if you have to get an import, it may be more expensive, but it's worth it. Mere words can't express the sheer awesomeness of this film. It is perfect! Funny, exciting, at times, very sad, unbelievably creative, of course the music is great. Michael Winterbottom's direction is flawless, and I suppose I needn't mention, Steve Coogan is unsurpassable in his portrayal of obscured recording manager Tony Wilson, not only that, but Andy Serkis, and Sean Harris are equally exquisite in their respective roles as legends Martin Hannett, and Ian Curtis. Again, see this movie. I mean it. Everyone in the world needs to see this film. I really can't stress that enough. Its greatness can never truly be explained in this manner. It must be experienced.
